The Air Jordan 1 Low Banned takes one of the most iconic color stories in sneaker history and applies it to the low-top version of the AJ1. The original black-and-red “Bred” colorway became famous in 1985 after Nike marketed the shoe as “banned” by the NBA for violating uniform rules, turning the controversy into one of the most legendary sneaker campaigns ever. This low-top release continues that legacy while adding several callbacks to the famous 2011 “Banned” Air Jordan 1 High release.

Air Jordan 1 Reviews
On the one hand, owning plenty of Air Jordan 1s in various cuts has allowed me to do a number of original Jordan 1 Reviews. I have reviews on OG colorways as well as newer colorways. Additionally, there’s reviews on lows, mids and highs! If you want to see original on foot photos of these kicks taken by yours truly, definitely peruse the AJ1 reviews!
Informational Articles
I haven’t been able to purchase as many Air Jordan 1s of late, so I took to answering questions about the model online. Some questions I get asked directly and others are ones I see commonly asked online.
This has resulted in a number of general information-type posts on this site. You can see the Jordan 1 informational articles here.
I cover some sizing comparisons, some history as well as other types of info regarding the AJ1.

The Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard returns in 2025, bringing back one of the most sought-after colorways in the Air Jordan 1 line. The original dropped in 2015 and became an instant classic—not only for the bold black, orange, and sail colorblocking, but also because of its reputation for great quality leather. The design pays tribute to the jersey Michael Jordan wore during a 1985 exhibition game in Italy, when he famously shattered the glass backboard on a dunk.
